1. Scope of Services
Flying Fox Immigration agrees to provide immigration-related initial consultation services through a personal audio and/or video meeting. The services under this consultation are limited to a single consultation session for the purpose of discussing the Client’s immigration-related questions, concerns, background, and possible pathways relevant to the topic booked by the Client.
This consultation is intended to provide general guidance and case-specific discussion based on the information shared by the Client at the time of booking and during the consultation.
No Consultant-Client representation relationship is created through this Initial Consultation. At the conclusion of the consultation, the Client is under no obligation to retain Flying Fox Immigration, and Flying Fox Immigration is under no obligation to provide ongoing representation or services unless a separate written service agreement is signed.
This Initial Consultation does not obligate Flying Fox Immigration or the RCIC to act for the Client in any application, submission, or proceeding. If the Client wishes to retain representation after the consultation, a separate service agreement must be signed.
2. Consultation Fee and Payment
The Client agrees to pay the consultation fee in advance of the appointment. The applicable consultation fee and duration will be as displayed on the booking page at the time of scheduling.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific consultation type, the consultation fee is due at the time of booking and payment must be completed before the consultation is confirmed.
3. Confidentiality
Information shared by the Client during the consultation will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties without the Client’s consent, except where disclosure is required by law, professional obligations, regulatory requirements, or where necessary to protect legal rights.
4. No Guarantee / Limitation of Advice
The RCIC is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and is bound by applicable By-laws, Code of Professional Conduct, and regulatory requirements.
Flying Fox Immigration and the RCIC do not guarantee any immigration, visa, permit, business, education, employment, or other outcome. Any guidance provided during the consultation is based on the information provided by the Client and on current immigration laws, regulations, policies, and program requirements, which may change without notice.
The Client acknowledges that incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information may affect the usefulness or accuracy of the consultation.
5. Refunds, Rescheduling, and No-Show
Consultation fees are non-refundable unless Flying Fox Immigration decides otherwise in its sole discretion or where required by law.
If the Client fails to attend the scheduled consultation without sufficient notice, the consultation fee will be considered earned at the commencement of the scheduled appointment time.
If the Client needs to reschedule, a request should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
6. Governing Law
These Initial Consultation Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a consultation, making payment, and/or checking the acceptance box on the booking page, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Initial Consultation Terms, together with the applicable Disclaimer and Terms of Service on this website.
